Volunteers
MHKA events wouldn't happen without the aid of our dedicated, energetic volunteers. Whether setting up equipment for agility, providing information to attendees, helping out the judges, or any number of essential duties, MHKA volunteers are the best! If you'd like to know how you can help at a specific event, contact the show chairperson and let her/him know. The best way to enjoy the show is to be part of it! (And we'll feed you, too.)
Training Classes & Breed Handling

Due to interest in our breed handling classes, we tried to find an site to hold indoor sessions throughout the winter. However, it looks like winter is soon drawing to a close, so we're making plans to begin the next Training classes in late April. Keep checking this page for updates.

Training Class form

This course is for anyone who wants to show their dog in AKC Conformation shows. It covers such topics as ring procedures and handling techniques. The dog and handler are prepared for the conformation ring. The class is held outdoors, so depending on the weather, classes may have to be rescheduled.
